The most important thing for me as an agent is to make sure that when our clients need me. I am there for them. I have been in urgent care clinics sorting out health insurance issues, the CHP filing desk reports with clients, and rental car companies making sure the billing is handled properly. Its my job to make sure that the expectations of the policy and the coverage in it are met.
I started the agency when I finally had enough of the horror stories from my friends and neighbors and how they were treated when they had claims or questions.
I believe that an insurance broker should be part doctor, part lawyer. The doctor part should “diagnose” your needs and prescribe the best most effective course of treatment. The lawyer part should be there to fight for you when you have a claim, or a concern that is not being taken care of by your company.
Like the doctors from the past I make house calls. I actually prefer to make house calls It is easier for me to work around your schedule. Insurance should be affordable, easy to work with and easy to buy.
